Courses Description
Emergency First Aid: Emergency First Aid will teach the participants how to think, react and respond to life- threatening emergencies such as Airway, Breathing, Circulation emergencies as well as Severe Bleeding and shock, and other life threatening emergencies. ( Schedule )
Standard First Aid: Standard First Aid will teach the participants how to think, react and respond to life- threatening emergencies (such as Airway, Breathing, Circulation emergencies as well as the Severe Bleeding and shock, and other life threatening situations), and non life-threatening (such as Head and Spinal injuries, Bone, Joint, and Muscle injuries, Wounds, Burns, Poisoning, and other non life-threatening emergencies). Emergency Child Care: Emergency Child Care will teach the participants how to think, react and respond to life-threatening emergencies such as Airway, Breathing, Severe Bleeding and shock as well as non life threatening situations. E.C.C also covers accident prevention, basic first aid, life saving skills and safety knowledge to help caregivers create a safe environment for their children, prevent injuries and know what to do in case of an emergency. ECC is a specific course that is designed for those who would like to work with infants and children.( Schedule )
Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation level C: C.P.R C (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation level C) will teach the participants how to think, react and respond to Cardiovascular emergencies such as Respiratory Arrest and Cardiac Arrest and/or other cardiovascular situations. C.P.RC covers the resuscitation skills for all age groups including Adults, Children, and infants.( Schedule )
Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation level A: C.P.R A (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation level A) will teach the participants how to think, react and respond to Cardiovascular emergencies such as Respiratory Arrest and Cardiac Arrest and/or other cardiovascular situations. CPR A covers the resuscitation skills for Adults.( Schedule )
Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation level C & Health care Provider: Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation level C & Health Care Provider will teach the participants how to think, react and respond to Cardiovascular emergencies such as Respiratory Arrest and Cardiac Arrest and/or other cardiovascular emergencies for those who want to work as a Health Care Provider (Physicians, Nurses, and…). C.P.R C HCP covers all resuscitation skills for Adults, Children, Infants as well as specific skills for the Health Care Providers.( Schedule )
Workplace Emergency First Aid: Workplace Emergency First Aid W.E.F.A will teach the participants how to think, react, and respond to Emergencies in the Workplace. This course is a specific course designed for the workplace and will cover life threatening and also some non life threatening situations. W.E.F.A is a nationally accepted workplace First Aid program and is equivalent to the Work Safe BC Occupational First Aid level one. This course also covers C.P.R skills for adults.( Schedule )
Emergencies First Aid Re Certification: Emergencies First Aid Re Certification course is a re-testing and re-certification course. This course will teach participants and help them to refresh their knowledge and skills. This course is a 4 hour course that will teach and review all the life threatening emergencies. Candidates can take this course if their Emergency Certificates has not expired. ( Schedule )
Standard First Aid Re Certification: Standard First Aid Re Certification course is a re-testing and re-certification course. This course will teach participants and help them to refresh their knowledge and skills. This course is an 8 hour course that will teach and review all the life threatening emergencies and non life threatening situations. Candidates can take this course if their Standard First Aid Certificate has not expired. ( Schedule )
Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation Re Certifications: This is the re-testing and re-certification course. This course will teach and help participants to refresh their knowledge and skills. Candidates who do not have their C.P.R certification within the past three years should attend a full C.P.R course. C.P.R Re Certifications includes both levels A and C. Candidates can take this course if their C.P.R Certificate has not expired.( Schedule )
Food Safe Level 1: Food Safe Level One will teach the participants working in the food industry to safely and responsibly handle food. This course concentrate on food preparation and serving, prevention of food borne illness, safe procedures for receiving, storing, preparing and presenting food, as well as techniques for reducing risk of injury and illness in food industries. Emergency Sports
First Aid:
Emergency Sports First Aid is an introduction to life-threatening sports injuries such as Airway, Breathing, and Circulation Emergencies as well as some other common on-site sports related injuries from safety precautions, injury prevention, injury assessment as well as the first aid treatment. This course offers as an Emergency First Aid with Sports component and candidate will receive an Emergency First Aid & CPR C and AED from the Canadian Red Cross as well as an Emergency Sports First Aid Certificate from Prime Assist.( Schedule )
Standard Sports
First Aid:
Standard Sports First Aid is an extensive training for life-threatening sports injuries such as Airway, Breathing, Circulation Emergencies, Head & Spine injury as well as some other non life-threatening sports related injuries such as Soft Tissue, Bone, Joint, Muscle, and the Environmental Emergencies.
This course also covers common on-site sports related injuries from safety precautions, injury prevention, injury assessment as well as the first aid treatment. This course offers as a Standard First Aid & CPR C and AED with Sports component and candidate will receive a Standard First Aid from the Canadian Red Cross as well as a Standard Sports First Aid Certificate from Prime Assist.( Schedule )
